Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga. It is a healing system that has its roots in ancient India. According to Ayurveda, the cosmos is an integration of the five elements.

  • Earth

These five elements are grouped into three different energies, known as doshas. Dosha means, fault, impurity. Every individual is made of a mixture of the three dosas, Vita, Pitta, and Kapha. Understanding your dosha will allow you to mindfully balance your dosha for an optimal life. This class will support you in finding practices that use mind, body and consciousness methods that work together maintaining balance. In class you can learn your dosha, and how to balance. If interested, a cooking class can be offered of traditional dosha balancing dish.
